I draw, therefore I am.
I make sense of the world through drawing. Whether I'm thrilled or horrified with life, drawing is my navigational compass. Drawing is how I rock the world or find solace, express my emotions or search for the core of my innermost thoughts--and beyond.
My drawing skills are the foundation of my work as an illustrator and graphic designer. As an author, I've had the privilege of writing and illustrating a number of how-to-draw books for school libraries.
Every kid on the planet, given the chance, will draw pictures before writing words. So, I started the Scribbles Institute to help kids and adults discover their creative potential through drawing. Sharing my knowledge and experiences with others who draw is a blast!
Drawing is in my DNA. It's in yours, too. It's never too late to pick up a pencil and go for it!
